Bruins Seeded 4th in South Region of NCAA Tournament

It's the team's highest seeding since 2007-08.

UCLA's men's basketball team received the fourth seed today in the South Region of the NCAA tournament -- the highest seed since 2007-08 -- and will begin play Friday against 13th-seeded Tulsa in San Diego.

If the Bruins (26-8) defeat the Golden Hurricane (21-12), they will face the winner of the game Sunday between fifth-seeded Virginia Commonwealth and 12th-seeded Stephen F. Austin in San Diego. See the tourney schedule here.

Tulsa won the Conference USA tournament after finishing in a four-way tie for first place in conference play. The Golden Hurricane is coached by Danny Manning, the winner of the John R. Wooden Award for college basketball's best player in 1988, when he helped lead Kansas to the NCAA championship.
