What Do You Think About Alcohol at Target?

Patch visited Westwood Village's Target and asked what you thought about the store being able to sell alcohol.

This week, the West Los Angeles Area Planning Commission gave Target permission to sell alcohol in Westwood Village.

We loitered outside of Target on Saturday (not because we wanted you to buy us a six pack) looking to see what people thought about the big-box store carrying alcohol.

In this video, see what UCLA students Julia Sommer, Matthew Davis and Shane Wison; Westwood residents Gevorg Muradyan, Jeff Gardner and Saleh Aljarboa; and Burbank resident Julianna Rondinella had to say about Target being able to sell beer and booze in Westwood.

What is the difference between Target, Trader Joe's, Rite Aide, etc? Most Targets do sell it and if people are wondering because children are in the store, all of the other stores have children in them also. Guess it is up to the parents if they go near it or not.

This is a City Target Store - that means a smaller store than normal. They lack many items normally carried by Target that are wanted by the neighborhood - with the nearest Target Store 30 to 45 minute drive away many of us would rather have those items than liquor.
