Westwood Neighborhood Council Meeting: Westfield Parking, Alcohol at iPic Theater

The Westwood Neighborhood Council will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The Westwood Neighborhood Council will discuss iPic Theater's request to sell alcoholic beverages, as well as consider a motion opposing the end of free parking at Westfield Century City mall at its regular monthly meeting Wednesday.

The board meeting begins at 7 p.m. at Westwood Presbyterian Church, 10822 Wilshire Blvd.

Westfield's decision to ditch free parking sometime in 2013 has upset many mall patrons who have few options for free parking elsewhere.

The parking rate has not yet been set and it's unclear exactly when new rates could go into effect.

Board members will also consider a land use committee's recommendation to support iPic Theater's request for a conditional use permit to sell a full line of alcoholic beverages.
