Westwood Neighborhood Council Calls for Election Candidates

Elections will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Westwood Recreation Center.

With less than two weeks to go in the filing period, the Westwood Neighborhood Council Board of Directors on Tuesday urged candidate hopefuls to apply for a spot on the ballot.

Those interested in vying for a seat on the board have until Sept. 28 to apply.

Elections will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Westwood Recreation Center, 1350 South Sepulveda Blvd.

"We want this election to be about strong, capable, and involved candidates, and all Westwood stakeholders are invited to participate," the board said in a newsletter Tuesday.
