Voter Registration Deadline Is Tuesday for March 5 Elections

You can register to vote online, in person, or by mail for the Los Angeles city and county primary elections.

Tuesday's your last chance to register to vote in the city of Los Angeles and Los Angeles County primary elections on March 5.

The city of Los Angeles offices at stake are for mayor, city attorney, city controller and City Council Districts 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13 and 15.

Also up for grabs are positions on the Los Angeles Unified School District, Board of Education, Districts 2, 4 and 6. Los Angeles Community College District seats up for election are at-large seats 2, 4 and 6.

Two measures — Measure A to increase the sales tax by one-half percent and Measure B impacting police pensions — are also on the ballot.

The Los Angeles County elections on March 5 are for a Burbank Unified School District special bond and consolidated municipal elections for Bell and Cudahy. Then on March 12, the county runs elections for a special parcel tax covering the San Marino Unified School District and South Pasadena School Unified District.
