Final Merchant Seat Filled on Westwood BID Board

Board members manage the Westwood Business Improvement District.

The Westwood Village Improvement Association Board of Directors last week appointed Kevin Coogan, marketing supervisor at Whole Foods Market, as its newest board member, filling the last vacant merchant seat on the board.

Coogan was voted in during the group's monthly meeting on Oct. 18.

"(Coogan) has been very active in the community to date," Board Treasurer Angela Rinebold said.

Property owners, merchants and a UCLA representative make up the 14-member board. Together they manage the Westwood Business Improvement District (BID).

David Friedman, owner of Sarah Leonard Fine Jewelers, also recently filled a merchant seat on the board.
