A woman who was in the house told a reporter she heard someone trying to get in the back door and thought it might be someone she knew, but when she saw the suspects, she retreated into a bedroom closet and slammed the door, then called police.

The suspects fled without taking anything before police arrived. A search of the area netted no arrests.

The woman said she was so frightened that she was hesitant to come out of the bedroom closet even after police arrived. Her mother told a television station the suspects appeared to have searched inside the home for something, but nothing was missing. She also said a similar crime occurred last week about three blocks away.
