A 39-year-old man was arrested today for burglarizing a Bel Air Estates residence reported to be the home of Academy Award-winning actress Sandra Bullock.

Officers responded at 6:30 a.m. to a home in the 1200 block of Angelo Drive, in Bel Air Estates on a "hot prowler' call. The suspect, Joshua Corbett, was arrested there, said Officer Nuria Vanegas of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Section.

Vanegas said would not confirm the residence was that of Bullock, but the Los Angeles Times and TMZ reported that it was.

It was unclear if Corbett, who was booked on suspicion of residential burglary, made it inside the home, Vanegas said.

At least one person was inside the residence at the time of the alleged burglary, the officer said. TMZ reported it was Bullock, who starred in the hit movies "Gravity" and "Speed."

Corbett was being held at the LAPD's West Los Angeles Station jail, with bail set at $50,000, according to sheriff's online booking records.
