LAPD Seeks Public's Help in Catching Five Handbag Bandits
Police release detailed descriptions about a fivesome who struck a shop at around 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
Los Angeles police burglary detectives asked the public today for information that would lead to the arrests of three women and two men who burglarized a handbag store in the Westfield Century City shopping center.
The burglary occurred about 2:30 p.m. Sunday when five suspects walked through the front door, stole numerous pieces of merchandise, and fled.
One suspect is described as a black woman with blond and black hair. She is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 110 pounds. She was wearing a brown tank top, black pants, a black bag and sunglasses.

The second suspect is a male standing 6 feet tall and weighing about 150 pounds. He was wearing an orange and blue design sweater and dark pants.
The third suspect was also a male, 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing about 200 pounds. He was wearing a black and red beanie, blue jeans jacket, a blue and white striped shirt, gray camouflage pants and black sneakers.

The fourth suspect was a woman with long black hair, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing about 120 pounds. She was wearing a light colored blouse, black shorts and dark shoes.
The fifth suspect was also a black woman with long black hair, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing about 120 pounds. She was wearing a long sleeved green shirt, dark pants and fur style boots.
