Police today were conducting a kidnapping investigation in the Rancho Park area.
Officers were sent to the 1900 block of Westwood Boulevard shortly after 11 a.m., said Los Angeles police Officer Rosario Herrera.
Traffic was routed away from the area while the investigation was proceeding. Details of the crime were not immediately released.
