Cars Broken Into at Century CIty Mall

At least four cars were broken into last weekend, police report.

Four cars were broken into at the Westfield Century City mall last Saturday evening, according to police reports.

The incidents occurred between 6 and 8 p.m. on the evening of Feb. 12 in the mall garage, Los Angeles police said Friday.

An unknown suspect forced open a rear hatch back and removed the rear seat and stereo system from one car; pried open the driver's side door and removed a third row seat from a second car; pried open drivers side door to gain entry and removed a gun, ammunition and back pack from a third car; and removed a third row seat from a fourth car.

Police also said that in an earlier incident on Feb. 8 at 11:30 a.m., an unknown suspect picked a car door lock to gain entry and removed a GPS, tools, IPOD and phone.
