Burglary Suspects Arrested After Sepulveda Pass Chase [Updated]

LAPD officers arrest two suspects after a pursuit ends in the Sepulveda Pass.

Los Angeles police arrested two burglary suspects in the Sepulveda Pass Wednesday afternoon.

According to Los Angeles Police Department Public Information Officer Christopher No, West Valley Unit officers began following the burglary suspects in a black BMW at 1:50 p.m. No said they were suspected of residential burglaries in the west San Fernando Valley area.

An original report from the LAPD stated there were four suspects. However, No clarified there were only two suspects who fled following an accident, and they were quickly arrested.

The short chase took to Ventura Boulevard and ended at the intersection of Sepulveda Boulevard and Skirball Center Drive where the suspects crashed the BMW.

No added that California Highway Patrol blocked off 405 Freeway southbound on-ramps from Mulholland Drive to Sepulveda Boulevard.
