2 Armed Men Rob Westwood Home, Tie Up Caretaker

Police are seeking two men who robbed a Westwood home Tuesday morning and may be driving a Chrysler 300.

Two armed men committed a home-invasion robbery in Westwood this morning and may have made their getaway in a Chrysler 300. No injuries were reported in the break-in, which occurred in the 300 block of Norcroft Avenue about 7:40 a.m., said Los Angeles police Officer Gregory Baek.

An occupant of the house, described as a caretaker, was bound by the suspects, who locked the "elderly'" resident in a bedroom, police said. A gardener called police to report the crime.

The men -- one of them was carrying a suitcase -- fled with unspecified property, Baek said. LAPD Detective Stanley Evans told ABC7 that the men wore hoods and had their faces covered.
