I have an idea for the up-and-coming Westwood Village. Slowly it is evolving into a force. There is the new City Target, interesting little restaurants, great food markets, a few new stores for shopping and of course the great movie theaters that are still used for premiers.
Westwood could be so much more. I think a good start to get the population age fluid and not just focused on students, would be to offer a free shuttle from the Village to the corridor. It would not only accommodate the older generation but would be great for shoppers with bags, mothers with children, or just people that want to exercise but can't carry home the bags! And if it is late at night it will be so easy to hop on the shuttle.
What great fun would it be to behave as if we live in a city and could jump on the public local bus and eat, shop, go to a movie and all this without worrying about parking!
