UCLA Insights into Cancer – You Can Heal Your Heart after Cancer

The Simms/Mann - UCLA Center for Integrative Oncology is pleased to present, "You Can Heal Your Heart after Cancer," the latest lecture if our Insights into Cancer series. Featuring David Kessler, MA, prominent author and well known expert and lecturer on grief and loss, will discuss important issues faced after a cancer diagnosis that arise for many patients and caregivers. Topics will include grieving the cancer free life and finding a new stronger richer life after cancer. David also discusses reducing fears of recurrence as well as understanding that talking about fear of death does not mean giving up, it means living life fully despite cancer.

When: 7:00 - 9:00 PM on Tuesday, July 15, 2014
Where: located at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center Auditorium in room B130 on Level B.
