The microbrewery will close after nearly 20 years of operation on Glendon Avenue, according to Eater.

Seafood restaurant The Boiling Crab will replace the Brewing Company possibly by the end of summer, Eater reported.

Here's a note posted on the Brewing Company's Facebook page about the upcoming closure:

As some of you may already know, Westwood Brewing Company has decided to call last call for the last time in a couple of months. We've not only served you, we've also made you our friends, coworkers and in some cases our husbands and wives. We have seen bands go from a small town college band turn into Maroon 5, we've seen small time comedians begging for stage time turn into the biggest names in comedy, and we've seen many Bruins struggling through midterms and finals turn into college graduates. It has been a great pleasure being a part of the Westwood community for so many years and though many of us haven't attended UCLA, we all feel like honorary Bruins at this point. We are going to make these last couple of months really count and hope the class of 2013 shows their support as the last class of Bruins celebrating their final months with us. Lastly, throughout the years our staff has formed many special relationships, please don't hesitate to come by and let them know how special they are and how much of a difference they've made in your experiences at BrewCo. Thank you for your patronage.
