Post-Christmas Deals in Westwood Village

If you didn't get the gift you wanted, it's not too late. Discounts can be had at numerous local retailers. Once you finish you did get, check these spots out. Only a small sample from a midday walk around the village.

For younger shoppers or the young at heart, the Toys R Us Express pop-up store on Westwood Blvd. near Broxton is offering discounts of 30 percent off all merchandise. The store will be around for about two more weeks, personnel told Patch. The store carries everything from educational bead games for preschoolers to less-educational monster trucks, both pictured at right.

For teens and Bruins, across the street at BDG denim for men and women is on sale for $29. Plus all clearance merchandise is 50 percent off.

3. For women, a block north at  all Pink bras are buy one, get one 50 percent off while around the corner at all sale items are marked down 50 percent.

4. For true bargain hunters, walk down the block the other direction, at the ever popular —and thanks Thank You Mart for displaying the stylish Patch sticker in your window!—everything in the store is always $3.99 so it's easy to try on a new look for not much coin. Another good recycled clothing option is at 10914 Kinross Ave.

5. For book lovers, on Westwood Blvd. south of Wilshire is heading into the final days of its store closing sale. (Doors set to shut Jan. 7.) Discounts on new books as much as 60 percent off.
