405 Closure: It's Northbound's Turn to Be Closed Tonight

The freeway will be closed between the Santa Monica (10) Freeway and Santa Monica Boulevard tonight and Tuesday night.

After a weekend of southbound closures, a stretch of the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway in West Los Angeles will be closed overnight tonight and Tuesday night for construction work.

The freeway will be closed between the Santa Monica (10) Freeway and Santa Monica Boulevard, according to Metro, which is overseeing the freeway construction project in the Sepulveda Pass.

Ramp closures will begin at 7 p.m. each night, with some lanes being blocked beginning at 10 p.m.

The full northbound freeway stretch will be closed from midnight to about 5 a.m. each night, according to Metro.

The 10 Freeway connector ramps to the 405 Freeway will be closed, along with the northbound onramp from Olympic/Pico boulevards at Cotner Avenue.
