Emerson Middle School Takes Home the 2013 Flag Football City Championship!

After a 6-week "Regional Knockout Stage" competition, Emerson Middle School took home the Regional Flag Football Championship in both the Boys and Girls divisions from a pool of 104 boys' teams and 102 girls' teams.  This regional pool play determined each team's ranking which qualified them to go on and compete for title of LAUSD City Tournament Champions!

On October 26, after an exciting Final Four competition the Panthers, led by the coaching staff of Mr. Kyle Morrison, Ms. Noriko Nakada and Coach Terrence, took home both trophies and the titles for the Boys' and Girl's Flag Football City Champions! This is a first time in tournament history for one school to take home both wins.  Go Panthers!
