Here's a handful of things to keep in mind for today.

    • Drivers, beware: School starts Tuesday for LAUSD students. Kids will be walking near schools again.
    • The Westside Neighborhood Council meets at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Westside Pavilion, Meeting Room A, 10800 W Pico Blvd. The Westwood Neighborhood Council meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Hoffman Hall at Westwood Presbyterian Church, 10822 Wilshire Blvd.
    • Weather this week will be warm, with highs in the high 70s and low 80s through Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.
