Do You Know This Bank Robber?

The LAPD is hoping someone recognizes the woman responsible for a Jan. 28 bank robbery on North La Cienega.

Police today released surveillance video of a woman who held up a West Los Angeles bank at gunpoint and may also be linked to five additional heists.

The surveillance footage is from a Jan. 28 robbery at a bank in the 100 block of North La Cienega Boulevard in the West Los Angeles area.

The unidentified woman handed a handwritten demand note to a teller, and then pointed a handgun at the teller, who handed over an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was described as black, in her late 30s, 5 feet 2 to 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing between 120 and 140 pounds. She was wearing a long wig and sunglasses and should be considered armed and dangerous, according to the LAPD.

Anyone with information about her identity or whereabouts was asked to
call detectives at (213) 486-6840.
