Chick-fil-A is a private, family-owned business. Currently, CFA has over 1700 stores nationwide. AsRead More of February, 2012 the company is debt-free. This means they owe no one and have sufficient cash flow to run their business without borrowing money. The federal government could take some lessons from this successful company. Chick-fil-A was voted as having the best food in the sector among America’s quick-service chains. Also, they topped the lists for cleanliness, service and value; according to a survey of 38,000 customers. Los Angeles Times, Oct. 3rd, 2012 Chick-fil-A ended 2012 with $4.6 billion in sales — up 14 percent from $4.1 billion a year earlier. That's a $500,000,000 increase in just one year! The company also opened 96 new stores last year. Atlanta Journal and Constitution - January 29, 2013

I stand corrected - the Quizno's is becoming the new Subway location. But still doesn't negate theRead More fact that Ike's won't open in a month.
Jeremy Pepper May 4, 2013 at 02:04 pm
Okay, none of this makes sense. The Subway is still in business and the employees have no idea thatRead More they're supposedly leaving. The Quiznos across the street? Gone. Could you have the wrong sandwich location? Which means that each article is wrong. And since you write on restaurants in Westwood enough, you know that there's no way he's opening in June.

I ditto your statement. I'd also add that chic fill a is garbage food. Check out the ingredientsRead More and of course these aren't organic, free range chickens they're serving.: http://www.naturalnews.com/036653_Chick-fil-A_anti-boycott_ingredients.html

Sorry I'll pass. I refuse to support an establishment that basically belittles the rights andRead More relationships of my gay friends. Gay people contribute to our society every day and yet some people want to single them out based on their own ignorance. This restaurant donated money to anti gay causes that promote stripping gay Americans of rights. I'm hetero but I can't support that because I truly feel we should all be treated as equals and that love should be celebrated.

Well then it all makes sense. They will expand themselves into wallpaper.
Jeremy Pepper March 1, 2013 at 10:38 pm
You realize it's owned by Umami, right?
Louis Schillace March 1, 2013 at 04:52 am
Nooooo! I really wish these restaurants would learn! STOP EXPANDING! Have 1 great location with aRead More line out the door! There's a reason none of these places become institutions. They expand first to Santa Monica. Then Studio City. Then Calabasas. Then POOF they are gone in 3 years cause no one cares anymore. Stop listening to the guy from Tarzana that was willing to drive to Westwood. Just stay put! There's only 1 Philipes. 1 Diddy Reese. 1 Brent's Deli. 1 The Griddle. Which chef is going to finally have the balls to create the next 1 great place??? Don't do it 800!!!! Don't be Umami!!!

Great - love Panera and love the location! I just wish the building owners would remodel the placeRead More - the exterior is horribly dated, and their "Oscar Winner" plaques in the walkways ends sometime in the around the 70's/80's.

I do not put anything in my mouth that is anti-gay and connected to a Christian hate group. TheseRead More anti-gay Christians keep pushing their hate and rejection of LGBT people on the people any way they can. The anti-gay Christians and their supporters again post their propaganda here to yank the LGBT people's chain. The LGBT people need to start yanking their chains. God knows they are slaves to the middle class and their false system of belief that does not work and has done nothing but abuse children for thousands of years.

i won't put that nasty filth in my mouth AND i'll be supporting my gay friends and family too....iRead More also believe the circus was a dumb business move on their behalf....proof provided when they had PR people working overtime to back them away from the mess the owner created....

My family can hardly wait for Chick-fil-A to open their doors!! :) I know a lot of high schoolersRead More that wish it would open sooner. YUM!!
David Parker February 14, 2013 at 08:53 pm
Take your business elsewhere then. Are you too cheap to pay a buck for parking. Westfield noRead More longer needs to be the defacto free parking structure for Century City. I don't see you bitchin and moanin' about parking at 2020 or 2049 or at the medical center...
Jayne February 11, 2013 at 03:09 pm
At $60,000 per parking space, it's no wonder they're charging for parking. I will take my businessRead More elsewhere.
VeniceBeachPress.com February 10, 2013 at 02:53 pm
Westfield did not notify the community when they decided to raise their parking rates. The WesternRead More Region Alliance of Councils was not noticed by Westfield or Terry Tippit. Terry claimed she had a conflict of interest and couldn't notice WRAC. Now we see Wesfield accomplishing their object, to make more parking profits while the neighbors stay quiet about it.

Westwood is so empty these days that we will take ANY business. And this one is affordable for theRead More college crowd. Yes, good idea.
steve w February 8, 2013 at 12:37 am
The Whopper with Cheese & Bacon is my favorite burger. Better than In & Out or 5 Guys in myRead More opinion. Sorry to see it go. I've eaten at Chick-fil-A and it's just gross. Horrible waffle fries. Closed on Sunday, guess you don't put your customers first. I'd rather have a Spicy Chicken at Jack in the Box any day. Go away Chick-fil-A
Diane Ruckenstein February 7, 2013 at 08:07 pm
I've never heard of this restaurant, but if it is known for it's negativity towards gays or anyRead More other group, you can be sure that I will never eat there. Let's all grow up and live and let live.
