Kidnapping Reported in Rancho Park
<p>Sinai Temple was the first Conservative Jewish congregation established in Southern California. The original temple stood downtown, and this one opened in 1960. The large facility houses banquet facilities, the Blumenthal Library, a pre-school, a religious school and Sinai Akiba Academy for kindergarten through Grade 8.</p>
<p>The Sinai Temple Israel Center provides resources and opportunities for Los Angeles Jewry to create stronger connections to Israel. Other programs of the temple include the Social Action Committee, Havurah, Sisterhood, Men's Club, ATID, Dor Chadash, Youth Group and Lifecycle Assistance. Along with Shabbat and High Holy Day services, many other spiritual and community events are held here throughout the year.</p>
