The Fowler Museum focuses on works from the diverse cultures of Africa, Asia, the Pacific, and the Americas. The museum's origins began in 1963 in the basement of a campus lecture hall. Its current facility opened in the middle of campus in 1992. Its name was formally changed in 2006 to reflect the museum's lead funding and support from the Fowler Foundation. Exhibitions change frequently. Admission is free.
