Campagnola Trattoria is an Italian restaurant located just south of Ohio Avenue along Westwood. This neighborhood restaurant has a casual, romantic atmosphere, with some seating out front on a heated patio and a cozy dining room inside. Sardinia native Carlo Podda established Campagnola more than ten years ago to serve authentic regional Italian dishes. Several ten-inch pizzas are served, with toppings like arugula, prosciutto, Italian sausage, spinach, artichokes, kalamata olives, eggplant and zucchini. The many pastas served include Capellini Pomodoro, Penne con Salsicce, Fusilli al Salmone, Ravioli al Funghi and Malloreddus All'Agnello. Main dishes include ossobuco, grilled New York steak, filet mignon, lamb chops and grilled wild Alaskan salmon. California and Italian wines are served, along with drinks from a full bar. Special menus are available for private parties in the Mirror Room for up to 50 guests. Campagnola Trattoria accepts the KCRW Fringe Benefits card.
