Team In Training Free Workout Weekend and Information Session

Greater Los Angeles Chapter’s Team In Training (TNT) to host Free Workout Weekend for those who are considering completing a full or half marathon.

Monday, October 10, 2011 – The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS’s) Team In Training of Greater Los Angeles will be hosting a Free Workout Weekend for those interested in completing a half or full marathon. TNT Free Workout hours will take place on Saturday, October 22 and Sunday, October 23, 2011.

TNT’s Free Workout Weekend, hosted by TNT certified coaches and staff, will feature an introduction to TNT, mini clinics, boot camp workouts and a 20 to 30 minute run, as well as team building exercises. Honored Teammates, individuals who are currently or have been treated for a blood cancer, will also be present to share their story.

Those who have considered completing a full or half marathon are encouraged to join the TNT Free Workout Weekend and meet the Team at one of the following locations:


Balboa Park – Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 8:00 a.m.
6300 Balboa Blvd., Encino, CA 91316
Meet at the parking lot past the playground along Lake Balboa.


Rose Bowl - Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 8:30 a.m.
360 North Arroyo Blvd., Pasadena, CA 91103
Meet outside of the Rose Bowl Aquatic Center next to the flag poles.


Heartwell Park – Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 9:00 a.m.
5801 E. Parkcrest, Long Beach, CA 90808
Meet across at the corner of Bellflower & Carson behind the Ruth Bach Library.


Road Runner Sports – Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. 1714 Newbury Park, CA 91320
Meet inside the store. Santa Monica Civic Center – Sunday, October 23, 2011 at 8:30 a.m. 1855 Main Street, Santa Monica, CA 90401
Meet outside on lawn.
