Justice Jog 5K for Charity, Hosted by LA Legal Association
Gathering to raise funds and awareness for an LA County children’s support program, an expected 500 attendees will participate in the Greater Los Angeles Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators’ Justice Jog 5K on Sunday, October 2, 2011. The race starts at 8 a.m. in Century City at the corner of Santa Monica Blvd. and Avenue of the Stars. The expo will be held between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. in the plaza of Westfield Century City Shopping Mall.
GLA ALA will organize the 5K Run/Walk to support CASA of Los Angeles, a non-profit organization that supports Court Appointed Special Advocates for children in the child welfare system.
The 2010 GLA ALA Justice Jog 5K raised over $7,500 for charity with the support of over 400participants and volunteers.

The event joins different sectors of the legal community together, including major LA-based law firms, businesses, athletes, families, members and friends, for a worthy, charitable cause. The event is part of GLA ALA’s Community Challenge Weekend, a community service initiative that encourages the legal community to work together for a local community cause.
Early registration is $30 per adult and $15 per child, ages 12 and under. Registration includes a T-shirt and breakfast. Register today and receive a $5 discount using code "Justice" at registration.
