UCLA Marching Band Opens for Rolling Stones

Band members play '(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction' in front of thousands of fans at the Staples Center.

Members of the UCLA Bruin Marching Band opened a Rolling Stones concert with a surprise performance Friday night. 

More than 50 band members played "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" in front of thousands of fans at the Staples Center, according to the university. The concert kicked off the Stones' "50 & Counting" tour.

UCLA football coach Jim Mora tweeted at the concert:

The tour's director of choreography, Kenny Ortega, invited UCLA band members to play at the concert, according to the university.
