UCLA Hosts Hair Cutting Drive For Charity

The university community turned out Thursday to donate hair to an organization that makes wigs for children.

About 200 members from the UCLA community let their long hair down for a good cause Thursday.

The UCLA Alumni Scholars Club held its fifth annual fundraiser and hair cutting session for Locks Of Love, a non-profit that collects donations of hair to make hair pieces for children suffering from medical hair loss.

Caroline Ennis, the daughter of a UCLA professor and a first-grader, was especially excited for her new hairstyle.
