Teachers Union Releasing Evaluation of LAUSD Chief Deasy

The evaluation was conducted in May, according to union president Warren Fletcher.

More scrutiny could await John Deasy after the Los Angeles teachers union spoke of plans to release the results of a performance evaluation of the L.A. Unified School District superintendent, according to a story from the Los Angeles Times.

Union president Warren Fletcher told the Times that about 8,500 teachers responded to the survey, which was conducted between May 3 and May 10, and that the survey was designed to further outline Deasy's strengths and weaknesses.
"Our first hope is that we can always give some assistance and guidance to the school board and superintendent," Fletcher said to the Times. "That is our goal."
