Westside Subway Extension Open House in Westwood

The public is invited to attend an open house on the Westside Subway Extension, the transportation project that will extend the Purple Line to Century City, Westwood and the Veterans Administration by 2036.

The Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority will hold the open house at  in Fellowship Hall on the third floor, from 5-7:30 p.m. Free parking is available in Belmont Village next door to the church.

Metro will provide important information from the Final EIS/EIR, including recommended alignment and station locations, graphics of each station with portal locations, findings of extensive fault and tunneling safety studies on the tunnel alignments through Beverly Hills, Century City, and Westwood areas, and real estate acquisition issues for the project. The meetings will also include a look at the next steps for the Westside Subway Extension.

The open house format is designed to allow participants to gather in-depth information about the project focusing on a variety of topics. You will be able to view the exhibits at your own pace, and Metro staff and consultants will be available to clarify, provide further information, and answer any questions attendees may have.
