UCLA to offer monthly educational support groups for families of dementia patients

WHAT: "What is Dementia?", an overview of Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, is presented as part of ACES: Alzheimer's Caregiver Education Support Program, a new monthly UCLA program providing informative lectures for caregivers and loved ones of people with Alzheimer's and dementia. WHEN: 5:30–6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 18 WHERE: 300 Medical Plaza (Room 2208) on the UCLA campus (map) SPEAKERS: Dr. David Reuben, chief of the geriatrics divison in the department of medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA COST: The lecture is free. Parking is available for $11 in Lot 1 at Gayley and LeConte avenues. INFORMATION: Reservations are encouraged but not required.
