The Westwood Village Improvement Association is set to consider new farmers market management at its September board meeting.

The Westwood Village Improvement Association Board of Directors will meet at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday to discuss local issues affecting Westwood Village, including new management of the Westwood Village Farmers Market.

The BID is an established area in which Westwood businesses or property owners pay an added tax to finance local improvements such as street clean-up.

The Westwood BID is governed by a 14-member Board of Directors made up of property owners, merchants and a UCLA representative. It receives $1.3 million annually from assessments on 120 properties within the District, according to the BID's website.
