Santa Monica Blvd. Near 405 to Close for 3 Nights

The street will shut between Cotner and Beloit for nighttime construction Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

The 405 Freeway underpass at Santa Monica Boulevard will close for three nights this week beginning Wednesday at 9 p.m. while construction crews install bridge girders at the site.

The closures are part of Metro's I-405 widening project. Santa Monica Boulevard will be inaccessible to drivers and pedestrians between Cotner and Beloit from 9 p.m. to  6 a.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The north- and southbound off-ramps at Santa Monica Boulevard will also close.

  • Beloit Ave. between Ohio and Santa Monica Blvd., 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
  • Sepulveda Blvd. southbound 2 lane closed from the Salvation Army to Constitution.
