How Residents of L.A. City Council District 5 Voted in the 2012 Election
Voters give overwhelming support for President Obama and end up on the winning side of most ballot measures.
Residents of Westwood, Century City, Encino, Bel Air and other neighborhoods in Los Angeles City Council District 5 voted overwhelmingly for President Obama in Tuesday's election, and narrowly voted against requiring adult film actors to wear condoms.
Data of election returns provided by the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder's office, broken down by city council district, show more than 82,000 residents of District 5 cast ballots, about 54 percent of registered voters.
Residents of District 5—which also includes Beverly Glen, Pico-Robertson and other Mid-City neighborhoods —are represented by Councilman Paul Koretz.
