The following are local crimes reported Oct. 19-25 in Westwood.

The following are crimes reported Oct. 19-25 in the Westwood area. All information is according to the LAPD's Crime Mapping website, which aggregates daily crime reports directly from the police. Below are some of the reported crimes.

Assault: 5:30 a.m. Oct. 22, 1600 block of Greenfield Avenue. Assault with a deadly weapon.

Burglary: 3:30 a.m. Oct. 22, 10500 block of Ashton Avenue.

Stolen car: 6:45 a.m. Oct. 25, Greenfield and Ohio.

Vehicle break-in/theft:

  • 10:30 p.m. Oct. 24, 10900 block of Ophir Drive. Petty theft - value of loss $950 and under.
  • 11 a.m. Oct. 19, 10500 block of Wilshire Boulevard.
  • 5:50 a.m. Oct. 25, 10900 block of Wilshire Boulevard.
  • 3:15 a.m. Oct. 23, 1800 block of Overland Avenue.
