Westwood Police Blotter: Assault With Deadly Weapon, Burglaries

During the week of Dec. 28-Jan. 3, there were 15 reported crimes in the Westwood area, according to the LAPD's Crime Mapping website, which aggregates daily crime reports directly from the police. Below are some of the reported crimes.

Thursday, Dec. 29

  • Burglary. 11:30 a.m. 300 block of S. Glenroy Avenue.
  • Vehicle break-in/theft. 12:30 a.m. 600 block of Kelton Avenue. Grand theft - value of loss greater than $950.01.
  • Burglary. 3:40 a.m. 2200 block of Westwood Boulevard. 
  • Vehicle break-in/theft. 2:50 a.m. 10400 block of Tennessee Avenue.
