West LA Police Plan National Night Out Festivities

The community is invited to Stoner Park for free food and entertainment Tuesday.

Local police are inviting Westwood and Century City residents for barbecue, live music and other outdoor activities Tuesday for National Night Out Against Crime.

More than 15,000 communities in the U.S. will host a National Night Out Against Crime event, an annual effort for drug awareness, crime prevention and neighborhood spirit.

The West Los Angeles Community Police Station's event is at Stoner Park from 5-9 p.m. The flier advertises free food, inflatable rides for children, live entertainment, skateboard demonstation and face painting.
