Water Main Breaks in Beverly Glen, Streets Closed

Crews from the Department of Water and Power are at the scene, on Beverly Glen Boulevard near Sunset.

A water main break shut down Beverly Glen Boulevard north of Sunset Boulevard as water flooded nearby streets Friday morning. 

The water has been turned off and repair crews are at the scene. Beverly Glen Boulevard will be closed from Sunset Boulevard to Corfu Lane into the evening, according to a notice from the Department of Water and Power.

Repairs could take two to three days, according to NBC Los Angeles.

About 50 Bel-Air residences are affected by the break in the 12-inch pipe, according to DWP.
