UCLA Police Looking for Peeping Tom

A man peered over the shower stalls of two female students in separate incidents.

UCLA police today were looking for a man who peered over the shower stalls of two female students in separate incidents.

About 3 p.m. last Thursday, a student who was showering at Sproul Hall "noticed a male subject peering over the adjacent shower stall door at her," police said.

Another student reported that at about 5 p.m. the same day, "an unknown subject held a black rectangular object, possibly a cell phone, over the adjacent shower stall door while she was taking a shower," also at Sproul Hall, police said.

The suspect was described as white, about 35-40 years of age, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, with a stocky build. He had blue eyes, and "buzzed" blond hair, and had wrinkles on his forehead, according to police. He was wearing a dark gray sweater and dark gray pants.

Anyone with information on the case was urged to call university police at (310) 825-1491.
