Two LAPD Officers Injured in Westwood Crash

They were transported to the hospital.

Two Los Angeles Police Department officers were injured today when their patrol car collided with another vehicle in Westwood.

The crash at the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and Selby Avenue was reported at 6:45 p.m., said Officer Rosario Herrera of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Section.

Both officers were taken to UCLA Medical Center with moderate injuries, LAPD Sgt. L. Sandor said,

The driver of the other vehicle was also hospitalized and is in stable condition with moderate injuries, Sandor said.

Wilshire Boulevard was closed in both directions following the crash, Herrera said
