Property Crime 'Up Significantly' in Century City

Eight Los Angeles neighborhoods report an unusually high number of property crimes Oct. 23–29.

Century City was among eight L.A. neighborhoods that reported a higher than average number of property crimes Oct. 23-29, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The neighborhood recorded 13 property crimes compared with a weekly average of 5.7 over the last three months.

Highland Park saw the most significant increase, with 30 reported incidences of property crime compared with an average of 13.2.

Five L.A. neighborhoods saw significant increases in violent crime over the same period. Los Feliz recorded five violent crimes compared with a weekly average of 1.6 over the last three months. Hollywood also recorded an unusually high number of violent crime reports.
