Police Seek Public's Help in Identifying Suspected Auto Burglar

The man is believed to have been involved in incidents near Wilshire Boulevard and Bundy Drive in Brentwood, Wilshire and Westwood boulevards in Westwood, and Santa Monica and La Cienega boulevards in West Hollywood.

Police are searching for a man who is suspected of breaking into multiple vehicles in West Los Angeles parking garages since Dec. 10.  

Surveillance footage from security cameras depicts a man police believe to be the suspect breaking into several vehicles, one of which was reported stolen.

Police describe the suspect as a 30- to 35-year-old white or Hispanic man with a crew cut, standing approximately 5-foot-9 and weighing about 170 pounds.

The suspect is believed to have struck near the intersections of Wilshire and Westwood boulevards in Westwood, Wilshire Boulevard and Bundy Drive in Brentwood and Santa Monica and La Cienega boulevards in West Hollywood.  

Anyone with information about the suspect or these auto-related crimes are asked to contact the LAPD, West Los Angeles auto detectives at 310-444-1505.
