Los Angeles police sought the public's help Wednesday in finding a woman last seen nearly two weeks ago at her family's home in Palms.

Police circulated a photo of Thathakahle Kunene, 40, who is black, 5

Kunene was last seen on May 17 about 7:30 a.m. in the 3700 block of Westwood Boulevard, in the nearby Culver City area, according to Los Angeles police.

She has an unspecified mental condition and may be in need of medical care, police said.

She frequently uses public transportation. Anyone with more information as to her whereabouts was urged to call police at (213) 996-1800 or (877) LAPD-247.
