Missing Westside Woman Calls From Wyoming, Went on Road Trip

She apparently went to Wyoming with two friends, according to what the mother told KCAL9.

Caroline Karimi, the 18-year-old Westside woman whose Monday disappearance triggered efforts from family, the Los Angeles Police Department and media to track her down, called her mother from Cheyenne, Wyoming and told her that she went on a road trip, according to what her mother told KCAL9.

Karimi, who volunteers at the San Gabriel Valley Medical Center, was reported missing to police by her family after she didn't show up for work. According to KCAL9, Karimi went on a road trip with Vivian and Valerie Lopez, a pair of friends and former classmates.
