LAPD Offers Westwood and West L.A. Crime and Safety Alerts
Residents can stay informed through social media, texts and news bulletins.

The Los Angeles Police Department has a variety of ways for Westwood and West L.A. residents to stay informed about local law enforcement and public safety alerts and advisories, including:
- Receive text messages about Brentwood advisories from LAPD Senior Lead Officer Maria Gray by texting "SLO8A13" to 888777.
- Receive text messages from the LAPD's West L.A. Division by texting "WestLA" to 888777.
- Follow the West L.A. Division on Twitter, https://twitter.com/LAPDWestLA.
- Read bulletins from the West L.A. Division on Nixle, http://local.nixle.com/lapd---west-la/
