A worker was killed today when he was struck by a luggage-moving cart at Los Angeles International Airport.
The man died at the scene about 5:20 a.m. near 1 World Way. He was identified this afternoon as 51-year-old Cesar Valenzuela of Los Angeles, according to coroner's Lt. Joe Bale.
The circumstances of the accident were under investigation.
An examination of Valenzuela's body to determine the cause of death was pending, Bale said.
