The following are crimes reported Jan. 9-17 in the Westwood area. All information is according to the LAPD's Crime Mapping website, which aggregates daily crime reports directly from the police. Below are some of the reported crimes.

Burglaries (3):

  • 11:45 p.m. Jan. 17, 10700 block of Wilshire Boulevard.
  • Noon Jan. 15, 11000 block of Strathmore Drive.
  • Noon Jan. 15, 11000 block of Strathmore Drive.

Thefts/larcenies (5):

  • 3 p.m. Jan. 16, 10900 block of Santa Monica Boulevard. Shoplifting petty theft - value of loss $950 and under.
  • 5:25 p.m. Jan. 15, 900 block of Westwood Boulevard. Grand theft - value of loss $950.01 and over.
  • 8:56 a.m. Jan. 11, 1400 block of Glendon Avenue. Petty theft - value of loss $950 and under.
  • 9 a.m. Jan. 10, 10900 block of Rochester Avenue. Grand theft - value of loss $950.01 and over.
  • 1 a.m. Jan. 10, 1100 block of Glendon Avenue. Grand theft - value of loss $950.01 and over.

Vehicle break-ins/thefts (1): 1:15 p.m. Jan. 13, 1300 block of South Sepulveda Boulevard. Burglary from vehicle.

Stolen cars (1): 8:30 p.m. Jan. 10, 500 block of Midvale Avenue.
