Century City Police Log: Assault, Vehicle Break-ins Reported

The following are crimes reported Nov. 1-7 in the Century City area. All information is according to the LAPD's Crime Mapping website, which aggregates daily crime reports directly from the police. Below are some of the reported crimes.

Assault: 6 p.m. Nov. 3, 1800 block of Avenue of the Stars. Assault with a deadly weapon.

Theft/larceny:

• 3:30 p.m. Nov. 2, 10200 block of Santa Monica Boulevard. Shoplifting petty theft - value of loss $950 and under.
• 4:40 p.m. Nov. 2, 1800 block of Avenue of the Stars. Petty theft - value of loss $950 and under.
• 12:01 a.m. Nov. 4, 10300 block of Almayo Avenue. Petty theft - value of loss $950 and under.

Vehicle break-in/theft:

• 10:50 a.m. Nov. 2, 10200 block of Santa Monica Boulevard. Grand theft from vehicle - value of loss $950.01 and over.
• 1 p.m. Nov. 5, 10200 block of Santa Monica Boulevard. Burglary from vehicle.
• 2:15 p.m. Nov. 6, 10300 block of West Olympic Boulevard. Burglary from vehicle.
