A bomb threat targeting the Westwood Federal Building turned out to be unfounded, a sheriff's sergeant said Friday.
The threat was called in to authorities around 8:30 p.m. Thursday, said Lt. Andy Neiman of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Section.
Deputies searched the building at 11000 Wilshire Blvd. but turned up nothing and the scene was cleared by 11:30 p.m., said Sgt. J. Morien of the Los Angeles County sheriff's West Hollywood Station.
